MPLS.TV is looking for producers, editors, and videographers for its second season of episodes, and our upcoming daily website content. Right now the show is in pre-production for Season 2 and daily videos. You can see past episodes and get a feel for what we're all about at http://MPLS.TV. The name of the show is the website, I know, it's clever. Experience is preferred but not wholly necessary.
MPLS.TV is a collective of creative individuals who work together to produce a wide variety video content, from sketches to music videos, in both episodic and standalone form. Filmed exclusively in and around Minneapolis by Minneapoltioans, MPLS.TV is truly Minneapolis Television. MPLS.TV is looking for editors to contribute on either a consistent or project basis.
Contributing Editors should:
-have the ability and equipment to edit HD (AVCHD) content.
-have some editing experience with Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere CS4, preferably experience in editing comedic and music content.
-have an ambitious, creative, go-getting attitude.
-be very passionate in their work, and strive for the best in what they do.
Having your own HD camera and having shooting experience is a plus, as many of our editors, are also our videographers and directors. We shoot content on a weekly basis during the heavy production times. Knowledge of chroma keying (blue/green screen) and/or creating your own motion graphics is another plus.
Our mission is to spotlight the unique culture of Minneapolis by featuring local artists, musicians and businesses in an entertaining and insightful way. Through the mediums of local television and interactive online content, MPLS.TV aims to foster a sustainable community of creativity and growth.
