McKnight Filmmaking and Screenwriting Deadlines Announced

Attention all mid-career Minnesota Screenwriters and Filmmakers:  IFP Minnesota is now accepting submissions for the 2010 McKnight Fellowships.  
The McKnight Foundation offers four awards of $25,000 each.  Guidelines for the McKnight Fellowships are available online at www.ifpmn.org/mcknight.html.

IFP will be holding free “How to Apply” information sessions for applicants to learn more about the process.  They will be held at IFP MN Center for Media Arts, 2446 University Avenue West, Saint Paul:

·      6:00 pm, Monday, December 7, 2009
 
Deadline for submissions for the Screenwriting Fellowship is February 1, 2010; the Filmmaking Fellowship deadline is March 1, 2010.

The 2009 winners were filmmakers Rolf Belgum and Mark Wojahn and screenwriters Nicole Brending and Karen Frank. McKnight Fellows are selected by a panel of highly regarded industry professionals from outside Minnesota. The fellowships honor the professional and artistic accomplishments of Minnesota artists writing and directing for the screen.
